The origins of acupuncture lie in China. Ms. Yue has spent over 5 years studying the acupuncture techniques used in China, and has brought her experience over to the US and Canada. With certifications in NCCAOM (The National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) and the Board, as well as over 30 years of experience, she has the perfect blend of modern and traditional acupuncture knowledge
Traditional Acupuncture involves targeting strategic points on the body in order to facilitate the flow of chi throughout the body. The western interpretation believes that by stimulating the nerves, muscles, and connective tissue, the body is allowed to produce more of its natural painkillers. Both schools agree however, that acupuncture is a safe and effective method of treating a variety of conditions.
